Step 5: Review your family circumstances and changes in long term care each year

Step 5: Review

Action is a prelude to review. Family circumstances and government policies frequently change. A realistic long term care program must take these, and other, ongoing changes into account. This requires reviewing circumstances and coverage on an annual basis, before it’s too late.

Throughout the year, we continuously monitor the way the economy and other factors result in changing government policies and trends.

  • We monitor what’s happening on Capitol Hill and the effect of changes on program eligibility, benefits, and ability to deliver promised benefits.
  • We pay particular attention to Connecticut affairs, and changing program coverage and restrictions.
  • We closely follow the economy, in particular, corporate merger and acquisition activities that may change your pension and retirement resources.

We are constantly watching out for our clients, watching out for threats and looking for new opportunities to protect your family’s standard of living and legacy.

Yearly meetings
To help you keep your coverage up to date, we will schedule a yearly meeting to review your long term care coverage in terms of recent events. This ensures that your family’s long term care coverage will continue to be adequate if it is ever needed.

We invite our clients to contact us throughout the year with any concerns or questions.
